Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and didn’t ignore the family too much playing AC3, Hitman, Halo, Fifa, Cod, Oh the list could go on.

But here we are again, Fandom Friday is here to save the week. And this week is all Galactic. A war between the Blues and the Reds. From what i know of Amy is she has the life of luxury. She gets paid to draw, conceptualise anything STAR WARS! She’s worked on the films, the games and the animated series. (Force Unleashed and The Clone Wars.) What a dream job that would be. As usual find a few images of her artwork below and make sure click the link to her Personal Site HERE

Fandom Friday – Francis Tsai

Posted: December 14, 2012 by davidsugden in Concept Art, Fandom Fridays, gamers assemble

Sorry folks that todays Fandom is a tad late but nether the less here it is. Todays conceptual Artist has worked with EA, Rockstar, DC, Marvel and Eidos. Hes got some very intriguing artwork and strong ideas. The difference with todays post out of the others is this guy uses his eyes to paint the concepts. Albeit the ones below are done with his hand there are some good ones up on his main site HERE.

The reason he paints with the use of his eyes is that in 2010 he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease in 2010, a degenerative and paralysing disease for which there is no cure. He lost the ability to use his arms and hands, and has such not held a pencil since early 2011. While this should have crippled his ability to draw, he soon found that he could use his toes on an iPhone, so began using that to paint images using his toes.

Then when he then lost the use of his toes, he used initiative, using a machine to track the movement of his eyeballs he has successfully got back into making art. Check his website for more images. But really what an outstanding bloke.

Since the first post was Ubisofts collection of images, ive singled out one of the Artists. Gilles is one of the main artists that worked on Assassin’s Creed III and worked on Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.. and does beautiful work, check below for some samples but make sure to click HERE to see his main website with more artwork.

For another change this week, I’ve decided to find the actual Artwork for Assassins Creed III. Some that hardly any people will have seen, due to the fact that this artwork is been saved for the Conceptual Artwork book Ubisoft have brought out, of which you can see HERE. And so the images below are believed to be in the book. Hope you enjoy if you enjoy the game as much.

Its at the end of the busy week, with the weekend (for some) jus around the corner. You all will know what this means on the site today. Fandom Friday.. Today i have found another great painter. He is a free lance artist so in theory he could/can have worked with big names. As usual there are some imagery below but make sure to check out his site HERE

I thought for a change i’d post not just one unique Artists but several. Or more so, a team of Artists. Here we Atomhawk Design. A team of character, environments, props and more, based in Newcastle. They have worked with big names and have has there artwork used in many games. Games such as Mortal Kombat, Dead Island, Driver (San Fransico), Enslaved, Kineticimals, Wheelman and more. With companies such as Ubisoft, Sega, Th_nk, BBC, WB Games, Sony and more. They truly are a wonderful team with many awesome designs, check their website HERE.

Because last week was Fandom Concept Art was late im making sure this time its on date. So here we have an artist who i really admire. Who gets to work with Ubisoft Montreal (Assassins Creed) and other games. But i really admire his work and been able to create something from using triangles (polygons) to build up unique characters. Below are some of his AC:Brotherhood and Revelations work, but as usual check his site for more intriguing stuff. Alex Troufanov

As you can see from some of the images, they have triangles linking to other triangles. Unless you have knowledge on how to do it on certain programs. It’l be hard to do. Alex is known as a character artist and 3d modeller, and is different from the art i usually post on here.
