Innovations in technology which might provide insight into how we will play games in
the future

With the release of Battlefield 3, gamers can enter an entirely new world of video games
that is dynamic and engaging in new ways. Battlefield 3 can now be used as a first person
shooter simulator, in which players can jump, crouch, and hold and fire a gun. So say goodbye
to long hours seated in front of the screen. With these new advances, Battlefield 3 highlights
some of the ways we could play our favorite games in the future.

How Does It Work?

The simulator makes use of the Igloo Vision Dome, which creates an enclosure where you
can project an HD image on the round roof for 360 degrees of video above. Then, with an omni-
directional treadmill, players can run and move around without running into the walls. The
walls also have 10 infrared tracking cameras that keep players from hitting the walls.

Lighting also plays a role. As the events on screen change, the lighting will also change
based on what is happening in the game, making you feel like you have crossed over into game
itself.

Finally, the game notes when a player gets hit by a bullet by means of a red flash on-screen,
which is recorded and the player is “wounded.” It’s even possible to set up paintball guns along
the edge of the walls to fire at a player if he or she gets hit by a bullet from the game.

Without a doubt, the simulator for Battlefield 3 will make players feel like they are serving
in active combat. It pushes the limits of contemporary gaming from tweaking the controls on a
handheld controller to actual full-body movement. It is an all-encompassing experience and will
most likely define the course of video gaming in the coming years.

Other Innovations

Changes toward making video gaming more interactive don’t stop there. Stereoscopic
gaming is also on the rise, where special glasses help create depth on the screen so that players

can experience the games on multiple levels. Unlike simple 3D graphics, stereoscopic gaming
glasses help the graphics actually pop out of the screen for many different layers of color and
action. While the simulator described above may be well out of the average gamer’s budget
right now, stereoscopic glasses are much more affordable, and no doubt gaming developers will
be creating more stereoscopic games in the future.

With these innovations on the horizon, it is clear that video gaming will become more
interactive and allow a wide-range of new actions. Playing a game will no longer entail
hours on the couch or sitting in front of the computer waiting for the pc games download. In the future, you many
not even need a computer anymore. Instead, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a fantasy world
in which you battle monsters and wizards with your own two hands, as well as all the wit and
strategy you used in your previous video games.

the huge community behind Assassin’s Creed 3 is incredibly with all assassin’s playing the game a day early (from pre ordering) or on the release date! although it is very buggy which is sure to be fixed some time soon.

The story is no short of amazing! if you’ve played the game and I’m sure most of you will have up to about sequence 3 there’s a huge shocker that I did not see coming, the characters in the game and brilliant from the characters you play to the ones you interact with. they give off a very good 1700 feel to the game wearing the full works of the old style fashion. SPOLIER, I don’t know how Connor can run or even move with all his gear with the tomahawk, hidden blade, rope dart and all your hurting gear.

The scenery is just mind blowing, the scale of the environment is the biggest you’ll ever see for Assassin’s Creed 3 if you don’t have a horse make sure you whistle for one or you’ll be spending most of the game running throughout the wilderness, while passing through the wilderness don’t forget to scale some trees! this is the simplest idea I’ve seen that’s been added to AC3 but they have perfected the climbing of trees and made it fluent and sexy at the same time! Boston is beyond beautiful and gives the same feel of a city as Rome or Florence from the previous games, while still giving it a brand new feeling to the start of a new assassin. the climbing in the city is even better than when they improved it in Revelations and to be fair I thought it wouldn’t be much different.

to get a full synch mission on your first try might be hard on Revelations or Brotherhood but you haven’t played anything as hard as AC3 mission, some of them are incredibly hard but simple to solve. I’ve got this one mission stuck in my head where I’m sure it glitches so I get detected and fail the mission, it’s safe to say it took me a fair while to even finish the mission without full synch

although like AC2 and the two side projects, AC3 offers a different way to make your money the renovation is out of the window for AC3 brings a brilliant, refreshing Estate for you to “manage” and build and evolve into a community. You can save citizen throughout the wilderness and invite them into your estate to help with their chosen craft, you can then find recipes to build new things and create weapons and gain more money in the long run.

as much as I love the assassin’s creed series, number 3 is bar far the greatest! if you haven’t played any of the series number 3 is the one to start with.

no explanation needed! THE CHIEF RISES

alright guys, not long now for Assassin’s Creed 3 and well if you’re a super die hard fan I’m sure you’ll have heard of Hacked History. It started a few days ago where you can find a certain image on top of an image, first it was the Apple and then the Abstergo logo hidden in a flag and the last was a Templar cross, the idea behind this was one person finds these “images” and you claim a pixel of a picture and enough people do it and Thai surprise you’ve got another picture and so on until it comes to the fourth picture which, SPOILER ALERT, SPOILER ALERT!! the fourth picture is what looks like Desmond watching some sort of wrestling match from up in the structures.

If you can’t already tell I’m so excited for Assassin’s Creed 3! be sure to check out Gamers Assemble HD on the 31st for a brand new Assassin’s Creed 3 walk through video!

UPDATE: I’ve been doing some research into this image and ive come across this tumblr site HERE which explains in full all the glory of this image above. For example; did you know there was a QR code in the middle console? or that the number are actually code? but the biggest surprise is that the hole image is covered with numbers, numbers you can only see in certain colours (R.G.B). And once you’ve dug out all the clues theres a message.

first the trailer for the multiplayer character Zeus, God of Gods!!

second, “the big reveal”, a quick video on mutliplayer being revealed to the press!
