We all know Rockstar are terrible for keeping us informed, after months of no news on the latest GTA we have some new screenshots of Los Santos. You can now even explode the big blue ocean using a special scuba suit allowing you to venture into the unknown, although it’s not promised you can explore the whole ocean in free play but more like it’s mission based.

though Rockstar hasn’t released any video footage I’m sure these screenshot of the sharp landscape, sky diving and a high speed chase.

Have you pre ordered GTA IV? or will you? what are your thoughts on Los Santos?

I know everyone is hating on black flag and I could argue with them all day about how they will end up buying it and liking it to some degree. People are saying it’s not “Assassin’s Creed” anymore but I disagree, Edward is still trained by the assassins and has the same morals and guidelines that the Brotherhood hold. It’s just he disbanded from them, but Ubisoft can’t always stay in the old centuries and keep reliving everyone’s favourite Ezio Auditore, as much as we’d all love that.

I’m the biggest AC fan and can’t wait for the release of AC4 – Black Flag for many reasons, which I’d like to discuss with you all.

so tell me what you think of Ac 4 in the comment section!!

It’s here folks, battlefield 4 set to release in autumn. players are guaranteed a wide range of vehicles, massive open environment and the chance to controller your own men!

instead of the 30 second clip of the trailer, here’s a full 17 minutes of gameplay showcasing some intense moments of combat and a quick vehicle ride. my personal comment on this is that it’s the only trailer/gameplay clip I’ve seen that I think is a brilliant representative of real war. not that I’ve been to war or come close.

although we haven’t had it confirmed for the next xbox or PS4 I’m sure we all can see it coming to the next gen consoles!

Innovations in technology which might provide insight into how we will play games in
the future

With the release of Battlefield 3, gamers can enter an entirely new world of video games
that is dynamic and engaging in new ways. Battlefield 3 can now be used as a first person
shooter simulator, in which players can jump, crouch, and hold and fire a gun. So say goodbye
to long hours seated in front of the screen. With these new advances, Battlefield 3 highlights
some of the ways we could play our favorite games in the future.

How Does It Work?

The simulator makes use of the Igloo Vision Dome, which creates an enclosure where you
can project an HD image on the round roof for 360 degrees of video above. Then, with an omni-
directional treadmill, players can run and move around without running into the walls. The
walls also have 10 infrared tracking cameras that keep players from hitting the walls.

Lighting also plays a role. As the events on screen change, the lighting will also change
based on what is happening in the game, making you feel like you have crossed over into game
itself.

Finally, the game notes when a player gets hit by a bullet by means of a red flash on-screen,
which is recorded and the player is “wounded.” It’s even possible to set up paintball guns along
the edge of the walls to fire at a player if he or she gets hit by a bullet from the game.

Without a doubt, the simulator for Battlefield 3 will make players feel like they are serving
in active combat. It pushes the limits of contemporary gaming from tweaking the controls on a
handheld controller to actual full-body movement. It is an all-encompassing experience and will
most likely define the course of video gaming in the coming years.

Other Innovations

Changes toward making video gaming more interactive don’t stop there. Stereoscopic
gaming is also on the rise, where special glasses help create depth on the screen so that players

can experience the games on multiple levels. Unlike simple 3D graphics, stereoscopic gaming
glasses help the graphics actually pop out of the screen for many different layers of color and
action. While the simulator described above may be well out of the average gamer’s budget
right now, stereoscopic glasses are much more affordable, and no doubt gaming developers will
be creating more stereoscopic games in the future.

With these innovations on the horizon, it is clear that video gaming will become more
interactive and allow a wide-range of new actions. Playing a game will no longer entail
hours on the couch or sitting in front of the computer waiting for the pc games download. In the future, you many
not even need a computer anymore. Instead, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a fantasy world
in which you battle monsters and wizards with your own two hands, as well as all the wit and
strategy you used in your previous video games.

some photos of the next-gen Xbox “720” have come to light online, the images were found on AssemblerGamers forums from a user known as DaE which tried the development kit for $10,000 in which a lot of people assumed the photos and development kit to be fake

the development kit has many parts in common with gaming pc’s and the two applications seen on screen are to help develop camera views and data from kinect, including Durango shown on screen which has been rumoured for a while to be codename for the next-gen console from Microsoft!

according to DaE the development kits were sent out in February with Intel CPU’s, NVIDA Graphics Card and 8GB of Ram although other sources say 12GB and 64 bit OS. although these specs haven’t been confirmed but sources have told IGN that the next-gen Xbox will be six times more powerful than the current-gen. plus some more specs that are going to be included in the next-gen console are AMD 6000 series CPU and support DirectX11
